question: “What do you especially love about Milton?”. Develop a shared vision within each group.

Participants
use sticky notes to identify places they love and places they hope will change
in town.

question: “In the next 8 years, how could Milton change to improve your quality
of life?”. Develop a shared vision
within each group.

Each group presents both of their vision statements

Voting session (10 minutes)
In addition to the fresh vision
statements, there will be a display of general vision statements expressed by
members of the Milton community (gathered via online survey, paper survey, post
card write-ups, or Summer Carnival activities). The number of dots next to a
statement indicates the number of people who included the statement in their
responses. Participants in attendance walk around room and vote for vision
statements that they support most using dot-shaped stickers.
