Town
of Milton Vacancy Notice
The
Selectboard is asking those qualified voters who are interested in being a part
of their community as well as, serving their community by filling the vacancies
below. You can obtain an application form from the Town of Milton Website at Milton.org
or from the Town Manager’s Office, Monday through Friday, 8a.m. through 5 p.m.
(except legal holidays).
A list of
current vacancies and applications can be found on the website (under
online/resources/employment/volunteers) or from the Town Manger’s Office. The
terms for these vacancies are as noted below.
Once the
application is submitted to the Town Manager’s Office, the applicant will be
notified of the date, time and location of the Selectboard Meeting to enable
the applicant to be interviewed for the position(s) of choice. NOTE: Applicants must be registered voters in the Town of Milton in order to be considered. The Selectboard
requires applicants be present at the meeting for an interview.
Selectboard
Meetings are normally held on the first and third Monday at the Town Municipal
Office Building, beginning at 6:00 p.m. Agendas can also be found on the Town
Website, the Friday before the meeting. It is anticipated that these interviews
will be held at ta late June or end of June Selectboard meeting.
