Why did the Bobcat Cross the Road? Roadways and Wildlife Connectivity

On Thursday night (March 2), the Lake Champlain Basin Program will host Bridget Butler, Program Director, Cold Hollow to Canada, as she presents "Why did the Bobcat Cross the Road? Roadways and Wildlife Connectivity."

Forested tracts provide important habitat for black bear, bobcat and fisher at higher elevations of the Champlain watershed. Learn from Bridget as she shares how citizens can help biologists track birds, mammals, and other species as they move throughout the landscape.

This LCBP Love the Lake program will be held at the LCBP office, 54 West Shore Road, Grand Isle, Vermont, the first building north of the Grand Isle ferry landing. The program begins at 6:30 and will include homemade desserts and coffee. Please call LCBP at 372-3213 for further information.
