Save the Date: Downtown and Historic Preservation Conference 6/8

As spring comes knocking on the door it’s that time of year where our planning kicks into high gear for the Downtown and Historic Preservation Conference which is scheduled for Thursday, June 8th in White River Junction. There is a lot happening in White River Junction and they are very excited to have the opportunity to host the conference and showcase the various projects that have recently been completed and others that will be starting construction this year. We are also excited to be showcasing and sharing other inspiring projects and ideas from around the state that we can all learn from.

We are in the midst of planning a range of educational sessions, tours and fun for the day and will have a lot more details coming in the weeks ahead. We will open registration the end of March but in the meantime wanted you to mark your calendar and catch a glimpse of our key note speaker Joe Minicozzi from Urban3 in Asheville, NC. Joe will also be leading and/or participating in two of our break-out sessions. He comes to us highly recommended and is recognized as a leader in the field of urban planning and development. His work ranges from regional areas and large urban centers to small towns across the U.S., Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Urban3 is a leader in data visualization, property tax analysis and return on investment modeling.

You can watch a short 4 min. video here to get a glimpse.
